Scientology

     Google said , Scientology is a body of beliefs and related practices created by L. Ron Hubbard, starting in 1952 as a successor to his earlier self-help systems, Dianetics. Scientology teaches that people are immortal beings who have forgotten theit true nature. Its method of spiritual rehabilitation is a type of counselling known as auditing,in which practitioners aim to consciously re-experience painful or traumatic events in their past in order to free themselves of their limiting effects. Dianestics uses a counselling technique known as auditing, developed by Hubbard to enable conscious recall of traumatic events in an individual's past. It was originally intended to be a new psycohtherapy and was not expected to become the foundation for a new religion. 

     Scientology is legally recognized as a tax-exempt religion in the United States and some other countries. But in France, United Kingdom and Germany , Scientology doesn't have comparable religious status. Scientology is one of the most controversial new religion movement. The Church of Scientology has consistently used litigation against such critics, and its aggressiveness in pursuing it its foes has been condemned as harasament . Another controversial beliefs held by Scientologists is that the practice of psychiatry is destructive and abusive and must be abolised. 


*Well, that's a bit of Scientology. I just want to know about it, because I heard that Tom Cruise is a Scientologist. But I'm Muslim anyway :)
